What is my prayer? Where is my prayer? Jewish prayer is a weaving of reflection and connection. Together, we will explore what prayer can mean in our own lives.
In this workshop, we will explore prayer not only as a fixed text, but as a personal language. Drawing on a classical Jewish structure, we will engage with three fundamental movements of prayer: appreciation, request, and gratitude.
The workshop is open to people of all Jewish orientations: religious or secular, familiar with prayer or not. It does not presume any particular belief, but rather offers a space in which personal meaning can emerge—whether as a conversation with Hashem, an inner dialogue, or an expression of what is present in the moment.
Through brief guided reflections, moments of shared stillness, and creative writing, participants are given space to articulate their own thoughts, hopes, and questions. Step by step, each person will develop their own prayer—regardless of prior experience or religious background.
