''The Honey and the Sting'' (published by JVFG) - a course in Judaism for those converting and others - is already over ten years old and life and Judaism have changed in that time. I am bringing out a new 2nd Edition with an additional chapter on Jewish life after October 7 2023. - which I wish to read and discuss. The German version 'Der Honig und der Stachel' is now out of print and work is under way on a second edition too, and also on a Polish edition, but let us look at the English version and ask ourselves what people need to learn and what they need to know.
