Houses of Learning - Traditional Learning and Contemporary Challenges

"Make yourself a teacher, find yourself a friend". Learning has been at the core of Jewish communities, how they are structured and function. In this session we are going to take a look at the history of Yeshivot - houses of learning - and how some of the methodologies developed there can be traced through up to our own days. A journey from our earliest times all the way to our contemporary museums.
